Gogo brown rice bowls excellent taste and time saver June 10, 2009 I use the rice bowls as a time saver. They microwave in 1.5 minutes and have an excellent taste and consistency -- just as good as my Whole Foods brown rice when cooked 45 minutes. I find this produce adds a lot to my life -- I have one for dinner almost every day -- whole grains with no mess, no fuss. I recommend this product highly.
Quick and easy brown rice. April 25, 2009 GoGo brown rice is great! It takes 90 seconds to cook, tastes terrific, and makes using brown rice so easy. A must have staple for the pantry.
No flavor, suitable only as bread. April 20, 2009 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this because of the rave reviews on amazon. When I actually ate a bowl, I found out that this is rice and just rice. No flavor, no seasoning, no taste. It's like buying a microwavable "lunch" bowl of bland, raw chicken. Why??
Good; But Needs A Bit Of Help March 15, 2009 This is nutricious, I guess; but certainly easy to stick in the microwave. The flavor is fine; but I think a bit bland, and a bit dry. Better to add something to it.
I'll add bits of left-over meat or maybe a little canned chicken. Then some sort of sauce, ranging from soy to sweet & sour or teriyaki. Use your imagination; but I think you'll be happier using this as a starting point.
Then you have a very nice lunch, prepared on a good and easy rice base.
Healthy and convenient February 25, 2009 It's great to find a convenience food that is really healthy. The rice is bland, which lets you add honey or some other sweetener to make a tasty and filling hot breakfast cereal, or garlic salt or spices as a dinner side dish.
